Who can apply for funding?

Agencies may apply for funding during the annual Request for Proposal (RFP) process.

First Steps Kent requests that all agencies who are not currently funded and are interested in learning more about the process to apply for funds set up a time to meet with First Steps Kent prior to the RFP release date.

During this time, our team will provide information about Ready by Five millage reporting requirements, share more about the application process, and answer questions on how the programs your agency may be considering meet the description of each type of program funded by Ready by Five. To schedule a time, please reach out to Heather Boswell at hboswell@firststepskent.org

The next RFP will be released on April 18, 2024. Once the RFP is released, our team will only respond to questions submitted in writing and are required to post all responses online. For this reason, please reach before April 1, 2024 to schedule a time.
